The summer prior to my first semester at Stockton University, I attended the EOF program in 2017. This program gives low-income, underprivileged students the opportunity to succeed in college. During this summer academy, students get a head start by taking two classes designed to prepare them for their first year of college.
I met Mimi during EOF 2017. She has supported me since we became friends. I am thankful to have her in my life because she helps me grow as a person.
During the summer of 2019, I participated at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute Undergraduate Program at Berkeley, California.
Dr. Pamela Harris has been one of the most influential person in my life. I had the opportunity to publish a math research paper with her.
I met Dr. Rebecca E. Garcia at the 2019 MSRI-UP summer program where she was the on-site director. I thank her for all her advice and mentorship she has provided me. This picture was taken at the 2019 SACNAS conference.

During the summer of 2021, I participated in the Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE) program for women entering PhD programs in Math. Through this opportunity, I met some of the most influential people in my life.
Applied Mathematics skills Improvement for Graduate studies Advancement (AMIGAs) is a week-long summer program for incoming second or third year students in graduate programs, designed to support and train a new generation of mathematical scientists in applied and computational mathematics. I was part of this program on July 10-14, 2023.
